Office Manager/Administrative Assistant

for California Commercial Investment Group, Inc. in Thousand Oaks, CA

Job Description

This position focuses on leading the day-to-day operations of the company's headquarters by maintaining overall office administration as well as to act as the first point of contact for company operations. The position requires full-time employee at 40 hours per week from Monday through Friday, 8:00am 5:00pm (with an hour lunch from 12:30 1:30pm). Salary range: $21. 00 $27. 00 per hour. (based on experience)

Summary of Responsibilities:

Provide administrative support for special projects to include research, compiling data and preparation of summary reports based on results.

Liaise with department heads to ensure processes are running smoothly and identify needed changes and/or improvements.

Achieve financial objectives for office operations by creating an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions.

Research and implement new opportunities to increase efficiencies throughout the company.

Maintain our company records, inclusive of files held electronically on SharePoint, paper files in our office and files in offsite storage, including creating policies on retention, protection and disposal.

Oversee overall office administrative needs, including; answer, screen and direct calls, manage office mail disbursement and supply inventories.

Job Requirements

5+ years prior administrative office experience required

A self-starter who is personally driven

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

A strong problem solver with analytical ability

Strong computer literacy
