Expansion Account Executive


As an Expansion Account Executive, you are responsible for growing our market share by offering current clients our newest products. These clients already look to us to assist in advancing the knowledge and closing the skills gaps with their employees, so you?ll be strengthening that trust by demonstrating value in the next wave of Infosec solutions. 


You're to build and maintain a solid sales pipeline and grow your book of business. Developing solid client relationships, answering technical questions, and preparing compelling RFPs are the keys to your strategy and success. As a member of the sales team, you understand how to work in a group and support a team sales strategy for maximum client satisfaction.


You have a background in technical product or SaaS sales so you know how to prepare and deliver solid product demos. Our Account Executives work in concert with our client success team to deliver consistent messaging and product delivery. You understand how metrics are met and help you achieve goals. You're excited about cyber security, the growth potential, and how we can lead the way in our industry.

Tech savvy. You understand the technology of your craft, but are also aware of the security space and how to work with both a technical and non-technical client base.


Positive attitude. You?re tenacious with a smile, able to stay positive and persistent. You?re open to new ideas and if there?s a better way to do things, you?re willing to try. The team works hard but you know how to have fun doing it.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Minimum of 2 years B2B sales experience (at least one is solutions-based or consultative sales)

  • Experience generating new opportunities and increasing share of wallet within existing accounts

  • Persistent and competitive

  • Use available data and metrics to make informed decisions and uncover potential missed opportunities

  • Self-motivated and driven with great time management skills

  • Quick study with the ability to learn and apply new information, think on your feet, problem-solve and communicate professionally in a highly technical environment

  • Coachable and open to feedback so we can help you succeed

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Confident using Microsoft Office programs

  • Familiar with a CRM system (Salesforce, Goldmine, ACT, Zendesk, etc.) 

  • Travel up to 20%

  • Associate?s or Bachelor?s degree
