Job Overview:
Xyntek is seeking entrepreneurial, dedicated, and motivated employees that are interested in joining a fast-paced <w:sdt docpart="6586A27EA0714F56A44B4A725F9459CD" id="900329767">Engineering Customer Service</w:sdt> Team involved in <w:sdt docpart="B69090595ECF475FB46702FDD8DA8E1A" id="414210191">after sales call center operations and engineering support</w:sdt>.  The ideal candidates will be involved in all <w:sdt docpart="21AAEA36DBDA496FA692B615CFC2D518" id="-1573649009">aspects of ticketing system organization, client phone communication, troubleshooting, and more</w:sdt>. The successful candidate will support the operation and maintenance of automation equipment deployed at various sites in the US and around the world, including packaging lines, database/data transfer, industrial machine vision inspection systems, robotic systems, and other industrial automation hardware/software. This position will also include internal IT systems support including network administration and maintenance, employee PC setup and maintenance, technology evaluation, licensing of enterprise software packages, physical and digital information security, and other tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities and Duties:

The ideal candidate will provide <w:sdt docpart="0D9DB2E860CA4C46A2B894D00B39A1F6" id="-1999794607">excellent help desk support to Xyntek customers.</w:sdt>

Tasks Include:

  • Provide high level and timely customer support through the Xyntek ticketing system;
  • Assign help tickets to appropriate engineer(s) for resolution;
  • Provide general IT support for the engineering department;
  • Create and foster strong relationships with Xyntek clients;
  • Communicate with all levels of the office: Supervisors, Peers, etc. in effort to solve open tickets and help inquires;
  • Assist with updates and process improvement ideas within the engineering department;
  • Assist other Xyntek departments as needed;
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Preferred Technology Software Skills (or Similar):

  • Experience with Zendesk, or other support ticketing systems;
  • Experience with network administration/corporate IT support;
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft and Google Suite;
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, a plus.

Required Attributes / Qualifications:

  • Bachelor?s degree in Information Technology or Engineering related fields is encouraged and preferred.  Completion of equivalent technical training courses and professional certification and/or previous work experience will also be considered;
  • Previous help desk and customer service experience is required;
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, as well as strong phone etiquette required;
  • Strong time management, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills are required.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of an organization;
  • Possession of a valid driver's license that is in good standing.
