SIS is looking for a Helpdesk Project Lead to fill a vacant position at WPAFB.  This position will provide team leadership and project leadership, as well as perform Level 2 technical support, and necessary system admin support as needed.


      Contribute to and maintain system standards

      Provide Tier III/other support per request from various constituencies.

      Investigate and troubleshoot issues

      Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.

      Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks.

      Identify strategies that leverage our resources and provide economies of scale

      Perform regular file archival and purge as necessary

      Perform periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning

      Prepare weekly, monthly reports for senior managers

      Connections with customer and clients

      Manage internal projects

      Flexible work schedule, day shift

      Work location WPAFB, Building 45, Area B



       Minimum 5 years of experience supporting an Air Force Helpdesk environment

       Previous Team Lead and Project Lead experience

       Minimum High school diploma is required

       US citizenship is mandatory

       Must possess a DoD Secret level clearance

       Must maintain a minimum Security+ certification
