The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Human Resources Department with all daily, basic HR functions. These daily functions include tasks related to compliance, new hire onboarding, reporting, benefits, Worker?s Compensation, and Unemployment. The HR Coordinator will upload the highest level of confidentiality, maintain organization, communicate effectively, and follow through in a timely manner.

As the Human Resources Coordinator you will:

  • Oversee compliance management and tracking for the Company in conjunction with the Compliance Department and HR Department Head
  • Running various clearances for employees as necessary, including but not limiting to SCR Checks, Background Checks, Medical Clearance review
  • Working with HR Department Head to process weekly payroll related items
  • Completing compliance audits
  • Planning and executing new hire onboarding and orientations
  • Managing all data for new hires and for current employees in the HRIS/payroll database
  • Completion of various reports in an accurate and timely manner
  • Participating in benefits administration to include enrollments, claims resolution, change reporting, and invoice reconciliation  
  • Understanding and administering Workers Compensation processes
  • Responding to Unemployment Claims in a timely manner
  • Actively supporting the roll-out of new policies and procedures
  • Upholding the highest level of confidentiality
  • Filing and maintaining organization at all times
  • Performs other related duties, as required and directed

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of HR experience and/or Bachelor?s, or equivalent degree combined with experience, preferably in Education
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high attention to detail
  • Professional presentation and ability to communicate with senior leadership as well as a diverse workforce
  • Ability to demonstrate accuracy, to attend to details, and to calculate and analyze numbers
  • Capable of using basic math computations and creating Excel spreadsheets including the use of formulas
  • Ability to run reports, to organize data, and to input data into HRIS/Payroll with accuracy
  • Ability to read general  documents, HR reports, general published information pertaining to compliance
  • Strength in problem solving and organization
  • Able to work in cooperation with other Departments and employees
  • Solid knowledge of HRIS, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Basic knowledge of Google Suite
  • Capability of working in an open office design and upholding confidentiality
  • Able to multi-task
  • The capability of prioritizing work according to business need and strategy
  • Ability to work flexible hours which may include Holidays

 Competitive pay based on experience ranging from $38,000 - $42,500 with an expected start date of January 20<sup style="font-size:0.6em">th</sup>, 2020 (flexible)
