SPEAR's Project Assistant will serve a critical role in supporting the growth of SPEAR Physical Therapy across several existing business lines and new site developments.  This role is designed to give broad exposure to all areas of the business from Information Technology, Procurement, Revenue Cycle Management, Construction and Facility Management.

It is essential the assistant be detail oriented and have strong communication skills. Working with external stakeholders, the assistant will be responsible for providing necessary information and following up on requests. Working with various team members inside the SPEAR organization, the assistant will be responsible for following up on technology and facility upgrades along with ad-hoc and routine data request.  Working with the Director and members of the finance team, the assistant will be tasked with month end account reconciliation along with progress reports and status updates.

To be successful as a project assistant you should be able to perform any tasks assigned by the Director in an efficient and timely manner. An outstanding project assistant should be able to maintain oversight of all project activities, identify any issues, and ensure these are resolved promptly.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Communicating with stakeholders regarding project needs and goals
    • Contributing to the planning and development of projects
    • Supporting the coordination and management of projects
    • Researching information as required
    • Performing administrative tasks such as procurement, vendor coordination, scheduling meetings, etc
    • Keeping track of and reporting on project progress
    • Completing any tasks assigned by the Project Manager in an efficient and timely manner

Requirements:

  • College Degree required  (degree in business management or a related field preferred)

  • Previous experience in project management or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
  • Highly organized and able to multitask.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Exceptional customer service skills and attention to details
  • Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently over the phone
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records or other electronic systems
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite
  • Comfortable with large data sets and data visualization
