<h1 style="margin-left:7px">Job Summary:</h1>

The contractor shall provide deployment management support services. The contractor shall deploy infrastructure and system solutions into the MHS production environment, coordinating closely with the Release Management and Transition Management teams to execute activities. Deployment Management encompasses Deployments spanning across all of the Desktop-to-Datacenter (D2D) initiative (i.e. Med-COI, CSMS, LAN/WLAN, DaaS). The contractor shall be responsible for planning, procuring, scheduling, coordinating, monitoring, and closing out deployment efforts. The contractor shall develop, implement, and maintain a deployment management methodology for infrastructure projects.

<h1 style="margin-left:7px">Responsibilities and Duties:</h1>
  • Generating, validating, and coordinating Infrastructure List Of Materials (ILOM), and Electronic Lists Of Materials (ELOM), market surveys, and procurements
  • Coordinating ILOM and ELOM staging, shipping, and delivery to sites
  • Creating deployment management plans to support on-site implementation of IT infrastructure solutions within the MHS production environment
  • Coordinating with the Infrastructure Testing Team to develop proof of concept plans, conduct proofs of concept, and collect proof of concept results
  • Planning, scheduling, and coordinating material delivery and installs with integrators and sites for on-site deployments
  • Conducting pre-deployment teleconferences to facilitate coordination across relevant stakeholder groups, including site-leadership in-briefs
  • Verifying completion and deployment dependencies
  • Monitoring install daily reports to track progress, and address scope and related technical issues
  • Performing site verification, quality control audits and acceptance tests post-deployment
  • Developing acceptance test results, site acceptance results, and IA acceptance results
  • Managing scope, schedule, budget and CRQs, and scheduling CRQs
  • Developing as-built documentation
  • Conducting hardware inventories and developing Hardware Inventory Reports (HIRs)
  • Distributing initial and final HIRs to the OSB Lifecycle Management Team
  • Conducting customer site out-briefs
  • Developing cutover and closeout reports (CCRs)
  • Conducting PIRs as required
  • Reviewing closeout reports and transition (via Transition Management) to OSB
  • Participating, contributing, and providing updates in the relevant IPT?s (Engineering, T&E, Deployment and Transition (D&T), and OSB)
  • Ensuring all data is correctly recorded in PMAT
<h1 style="margin-left:7px">Qualifications and Skills:</h1>
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust
  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • PMP
  • ITILv3 or later
  • Desired Experience ? 10 years in Project Management
