What you?ll do
Strategy - Develop and manage a roadmap to drive traffic, engagement, and lead conversions for our Content and SEO strategy for our contractor pages
Execute - Prioritize, scope, and execute against weekly and monthly product development backlog with to meet quarterly KPI and OKRs
Measure and Optimize - Use analytical tools and data to support recommendations and drive business insights and engagement feature decisions
Collaborate - Work closely with design, engineering, sales, marketing and operations to bring an outstanding set of digital experiences for millions of US contractors
Reporting - Build and manage dashboards to report on content and feature impacts (i.e. impressions, pv?s / article, CTR by module, conversion actions, etc..)
What we?d like to see (must have):
A minimum of 5 years of product management experience in consumer web products for inbound-focused companies:
Comfortable working in a fast-paced rapidly-changing (and often ambiguous) environment
Passion for understanding user intent /behavior and building great online user centric experiences; ability to balance both the art (user empathy, design) and science (analytics, statistics, structured hypotheses) to create unique web experiences for our users
Comfortable performing quantitative and qualitative user research
Experience launching and optimizing consumer web products (including experience with conversion analysis and optimization, and A/B testing)
Experience planning and executing SEO-based organic traffic go-to-market strategy
Owning and building successful new products and user experiences through multiple releases in an agile product development environment
Solid understanding of the full software development lifecycle
Prioritizing and grooming product roadmap and writing clear and comprehensive user stories for product delivery team (design & engineering)
Attention to detail - comfortable diving in and digging through all the details while not losing sight of the wider goal
Excellent communication and people skills -- work well with employees at all levels, including C-Level.
Extensive experience (5+ years) in SEO with a deep understanding of search engines and how search ranking works:
Experience developing and driving technical (on page / off page) SEO strategies for web content publishers or e-commerce (user/lead acquisition) products by balancing traffic growth initiatives with conversion optimization efforts
Everything from developing content publishing cadence and linking strategies, to mocking up wireframes, to evaluating technical feasibility, to developing A/B experiments, to monitoring / measuring engagement traffic results
Expert in using platforms like Ahrefs, SEMRush, Clearscope as well as crawlers like ScreamingFrog or Deepcrawl
Mastery of different analytics and search performance tracking tools (Google Search Console, Google Analytics, etc.) and other tools of the SEO trade (crawlers, keyword tools, etc.)
Always stay up to date on the latest trends in SEO practices, strategy, and measurement
